What is powder coating?

Powder coating is an advanced method of applying a protective and decorative finish to a wide range of products that are used by industry and consumer. The powder used for this process is a mixture of finely ground particles of resins and pigments that resemble coloured baby powder. The charged powder particles adhere to the grounded piece and then are cured in one of our specialty ovens at a temperature of 400°F. Once cured and cooled, you have a uniform, durable, and very attractive finish. Powder coating is one of the fastest-growing finishing technologies in the world. The powder coating process is environmentally friendly and virtually pollution-free.

What are the advantages of powder coating?

A powder-coated surface is one of the most durable finishes available. It is more resistant to chipping, scratching, fading and wear. Powder coating gives consumers, businesses, and industries one of the most economical, longest-lasting and most durable quality finishes available.

Can I match my powder coating to existing paint?

Although powder colours are in the thousands, there are fewer colours than wet paint. It is always best to match wet paint to the powder colour rather than to try to match the powder to wet paint.
