Powder Coating is an advanced method of applying a decorative finish to a wide range of materials and products that are used by both industry and consumer. The powder used for the process is a mixture of finely ground particles of pigment and resin which is sprayed onto a specially prepared surface that has been prepared to a white metal (Super Clean Finish). The charged powder particles adhere to the electrically grounded surface until heated up to 300°F to 400°F in one of our special ovens. When curing in the oven the powder fuses itself to the surface and thus flows out to become a uniform, durable, attractive finish.
